In the two years of the global Covid-19 pandemic, domestic tourism dramatically intensified. At this time, when the flow of those wishing to relax and travel through the beautiful nature of Mongolia increased, we initiated and launched the action “Garbage in my car, not in the nature”. As part of the campaign, fellows at the Petrovis gas station were given garbage bags free of charge on the roads leading to and from the capital, and organized the collection and removal of garbage collected with the help of these bags. In just two years of the campaign, we received 700 tons of garbage, the purpose of what is to reduce the risk of creating a large amount of garbage in the environment. This prevented 350 garbage trucks with a capacity of 2 tons from being thrown into the environment.
