Petrovis Group supports conservationists for 5th year.

Petrovis Grouphas been cooperating with the Rally for Rangers campaign since 2018 as part of its social responsibility. People who perform their duty in the far corners of the land, where no traces of human feet are found, are the guardians of our nature. There are 121 specially protected areas in Mongolia. Petrovis Grouphas been cooperating with the Rally for Rangers campaign for the 5th year, providing the necessary transport for the on-demand duties by the rangers living in these specially protected areas and working wholeheartedly to protect their country. With the Rally for Rangers campaign, jointly implemented by the NGO Mongolian Ecological Center and the Petrovis Group, more than 100 rangers received motorcycles with good off-road capabilities.

For this time, the international campaign Rally for Rangers will be held in the Ulan-Taiga state reserve of Khuvsgul province, from August 15 to 28, and Petrovis Groupwill donate Yamaha AG200 motorcycles to 15 rangers serving at the territory. Moreover, the Group will cover the cost of fuels expended during the campaign.

In addition, the place called Ulan-Taiga of Khuvsgul province is a beautiful natural setting with high mountains, rich fresh water reserves and rare and endangered animals and plants. Therefore, in 2011, the region was declared as a natural reservation with intention to conduct comprehensive field studies, to study the patterns of evolution of the area, to find out the reasons for the extinction of animals and plants, and to provide an environment and conditions for their growth and reproduction. This year marks the 10th year of the territory’s natural reservation status.

As a contributer and a partner to these missions, the group is confident that endeavors of the rangers would be a great success in expanding the protection of specially protected lands, fresh water sources and environmentally sensitive areas and passing to future generations.
