PETROVIS STATEMENT
Petrovis Group supplies fuel from oil refineries in Russia. In the last two years, in connection with the vaccination of Covid-19, Petrovis Group, aware of its social responsibility, has not increased the price of fuel and has been delivering it to consumers at a loss price.
Starting from August 2021, for two months, the fuel supplier Russia carried out routine maintenance of the plant, and due to the delay in the repair, the ordered fuel was not supplied as planned. In this regard, we have imported only less than half of the fuel ordered for purchase from Russian oil refineries.
It was announced that the operations of Russian oil refineries will return to normal in October, and they will continue to supply the ordered fuel. Therefore, we sought new import channels and ordered fuel from factories in China. However, due to rail freight regulations, delivery is very slow. If the government makes a quick and rational decision to overcome the problems and obstacles, we are ready to cooperate with that decision.
Any disruption in the activities of the General Directorate of Emergency Situations and its affiliated branches, the General Police Department and its affiliated branches, Hospitals and Medical Ambulances, the General Border Guard Department, Energy, Intelligence, Courts, Court Enforcement Organizations, Telecommunications, and Postal Service Organizations is critical to the national security. Also, our priority is to fulfill our long-term contractual obligations to our valued customers who choose Petrovis Group. In order to successfully achieve these important goals, there is a need to make the current few days of fuel available to everyone. This situation forced us to operate with certain limitations.
We are deeply saddened by the harassment and verbal abuse of gas station dispensers by consumers and are concerned about the health and safety of our more than 2,000 employees.
We would like to officially inform you that Petrovis Group is making the above arrangements related to fuel reserves and has not caused an artificial shortage or increase in fuel prices in any way.
