Petrovis Groupof Companies continues to implement the My Car promotion program, which awards customers a brand-new car.
The owners of the third car and prize winners of the promotion program were announced live on the 15th of this month on Mongolian National Public Television, as follows:
• D. Baatartumur, a customer of Galshar soum of Khentei province, became the owner of a brand new “Duster” car with “0” mileage of the well-known French brand Renault, imported by company “Monnis Motors” with the right of an official distributor.
• O. Tuvshinzaaya, customer of Khanbogd soum, South Gobi province, owner of the right to a car service in the amount of 1,000,000 tugrug of the Monnis Motors company.
• S. Javkhlan, a customer of Ulaanbaatar, is the owner of the rights to fuel in the amount of 500,000 tugrug.
• I. Bolorchimeg, a customer of Sukhbaatar province, was chosen as the owner of the rights to Mobil brand special oils and lubricants in the amount of 300,000 tugrug.
D. Baatartumur, the owner of a new car under the promotionprogram, was given a new car in his home region. He is a well-known Uyach (one who trains horses for racing) of his sum.
“I waited a long time when they said that they had left the province. I just kept going out of the house and looking around…”
- When did you hear about the promotion program? With how many rights did you participate?
- I found out that the program had started in July. At that time, I was in a hurry, so I did not have time to register my rights. July is the peak season for a race horse trainer.
But on August 10, when I went to the provincial center and bought gasoline, I asked if the My Car program was still going on. I had few things planned and had more time. The gas station staff then told me that the program was still running and that I could send the code to 130360, so I registered the rights I got that day.
Since a mobile phone does not have a network in rural areas, I registered all my rights while I was in the province center, I have a network there.
- Did you manage to watch the live broadcast at this time?
- On the day of the live broadcast, I was in the neighbors' house. It happened to be live streaming. At this time, I just thought that I had four rights, but I did not think about becoming a car prize winner. When the winner of the new car was announced last time, I was surprised as they called my phone number, and as it was shown on the screen, it was my number, so I just started to believe it.
It was so nice to see my number on the screen. When I went to a place with a network coverage, there had been about congratulatory 200 calls on my phone. It took about 5 minutes to receive call messages.
Later a staff from Petrovis called and congratulated. They asked if I could come to town on Monday to pick up my car. But the next day, when I drove into the province and turned on the phone, they called me again from Petrovis and said that they were going to deliver the car to our sum at my home.
I waited a long time for them to say that they were leaving the province. I impatiently waited them and went to see if they were coming. /laughs/.
-- What was your feeling when you see your car for the first time?
- It was very good. I went around the horse post three times to symbolize that I had a new car.
- As our promotion program continues, will you be able to participate again?
- I hadn’t won when I occasionally try my luck in the different times like at the festival /laughs/. That's why I thought I didn't win the lottery. But thanks to the My Car promotion program, I became the owner of a new brand car. I wish other riders to participate in this fair program and I wish them good luck.
Drivers from our soum always buy fuel from Petrovis when leaving the province.
Let's change the subject a little bit. It is joyful and symbolic for us to note that the owner of the new “Iron horse” came from race horse training field. You are a famous horse trainer. How long ago did you start training racehorses?
- Yes, I have the title of sum’s distinguished horse trainer a.k.a “Uyach”. At the sum’s festival-naadam, my stallions and adult horses won the first place three times. One-year-old foals have already won first place several times. In total, at the sums’ festivals and the festivasl of sacrifice to Obo-kurgan, my horses won about 50 airags (one of the first 5 places).
I learned to ride at the age of four, and at the age of six I rode a racehorse.
I started training horses when I entered the eighth grade. For the first time in 1995 I began to train a stallion and a six-year-old horse. Both came to the finish in the first 20 places. So, that was my start of horse trainer career.
Three years later, in 1998, the one-year-old stallion finished third. Since then I have participated in many Kurgan and Sums’ festivals with my horses.
- Was your father a horse trainer, or have you been a jockey child and later become a trainer?
- My father is a veterinarian. He does not train horses because he is busy with work. When neighboring families started training their horses when they were young, I asked my dad to train his horses.
Since my father did not train his horses, I rode on the horses of our foreman and took first place several times. After 2-3 years of racing, I was awarded a one-year-old horse of a sandy-chestnur color. This is the fruit of my labor. Many fast horses came from the descendants of this young horse.
But my mother is a shepherd. Excellent rider. They say that while carrying me in the womb, she used to ride horse herding around thousands of horses. I have been interested in horses since I was born.
-What do you do, what is your profession? Is your profession related to animal husbandry?
- In 1987, I enrolled the first class of the Sum school. Since 1991, I studied at the school of Khentii province. Then I studied at the Institute of Mongolian Language and Literature in 1998-2001.
By training I am teacher and translator. In winters, I used to go to school, and in summer, I would train horses. It's hard to live in downtown if you have livestock in countryside. So, I quit teaching because I love horses. But my profession provided valuable knowledge and how to communicate with people.
- I would like to give you the last moment of the interview?
- My sister's son Naranbold lives in Australia with his family. I would like to greet with them through this interview. I would also like to greet my cousin Enkhtuvshin, who also lives in Australia, Enkhnaran, who lives in Sweden, and Davaan, who lives in the United States.
